About us
The Veterinary Practice was established in 1977 and became the Animal Medical Centre in August 1999 when local Vets Mark and Michelle Lingard, of Moy Farm Veterinary Centre, became the new owners.
Mark graduated from Liverpool University and worked with small animals, horses and farm animals for a large Veterinary Practice in Cheshire. He then worked at Cambridge University whilst studying for his Diploma in Veterinary Radiology, this is the highest qualification attainable in Veterinary Radiology. After this he caught the travel bug, worked in Hong Kong and China where he studied acupuncture. The next move was to work in a large equine clinic in Australia.
Michelle graduated from Sydney University, Australia and worked with small animals and in the same large equine group as Mark. Together Mark and Michelle settled in the UK, and established the Moy Farm Veterinary Centre at Out Rawcliffe.
